Intitulée « Nature vivante », cette création in situ explore la relation entre une nature et une architecture, offrant aux visiteurs une expérience sensorielle issue de la rencontre entre l’artiste et la nature luxuriante du site du CACLB à Montauban. Inspirée également par l’iconographie et la photographie de lieux anciennement habités,
parfois soudainement abandonnés des hommes, où la nature a repris ses droits. L’œuvre envahit l’espace muséal aseptisé ; elle mêle végétal et éléments architecturaux, évoquant l’idée d’une nature vivante qui prend ainsi possession des espaces. Cette création interroge notre rapport à la nature dans un monde en constante évolution où nos meubles déforêstent tandis que les constructions poussent plus vite que les mauvaises herbes.
Installation présentée dans le cadre de l’exposition Prendre racine : l’architecture à Montauban du Musée Gaumais (14.06 > 03.11.24) à l’occasion de la programmation d’anniversaire « 40 et + (Arpenter les lieux) » du CACLB.

Nature Vivante is an in situ creation exploring the relationship between nature and architecture, offering visitors a sensory experience stemming from the encounter between the artist and the lush nature of the CACLB site in Montauban. It is also inspired by the iconography and photography of formerly inhabited places, sometimes suddenly abandoned by humans, where nature has reclaimed its rights. The work invades the sanitized museum space; it blends plant elements with architectural elements, evoking the idea of a living nature that thus takes possession of the spaces. This creation questions our relationship with nature in a constantly evolving world where our furniture deforests while constructions grow faster than weeds.
Installation presented as part of the exhibition Prendre racine : Architecture in Montauban at the Gaumais Museum (14.06 > 03.11.24) on the occasion of the anniversary program "40 and + (Surveying the Places)" of the CACLB.
